While we regret to lose a hosting customer under any circumstances we do understand that for various reasons people do decide to move on. Sadly many hosting services feel that customer service ends when a customer tells them they are moving on. We disagree with that philosophy. We believe in good customer service from start to finish. This page was created to help facilitate a smooth transition or termination for customers who have decided to move away from our hosting service. It was also created to help customers understand there is a proper procedure to follow when doing this. This procedure helps to create an efficient move that isn't hung up or delayed needlessly. The first thing to do is to let us know what your intentions are. Often times we must approve transfers from registrars and do many things on our end to ensure your move goes smoothly and completely. This can include many things such as approval of transfers with registrars and removal of old files which prevent your new host from being seen from our system. The nature of web hosting demands that in some way we be part of the transfer process. Failing to let us know of a move or termination only jeopardizes your own web site and investment. When you let us know also please be kind enough to let us know if your move is due to some failure to deliver services or meet expectations on our part. If there is still an opportunity to make things right we would love to know. We won't badger you to stay with us however if there is something we could do let's talk about it. It is much easier to retain your current web host than to move to a new one. We try very hard to give good customer service to our hosting clients. It is also imperitive and required that we receive a signed letter indicating your intentions to move. We require this for purposes of security. There has been a sharp increase in domain hijacking and theft. For everyone's protection it is best that we get a signed letter that we can keep on file.
